Singer / Song writer

In the days of endless "pop" (originally named after bubble gum popular music in the 70's) music where everything is formulated, it is good to reflect to the past to find treasures of lyrical genius. These singer song writes sung about moral issues, emotional battles, and social corruption, but mostly of love. Usually armed with a guitar and a burning in their bellies, these guys have made some of the best music of the 20th century. As a great composer once said, "You can listen to good music, but great music demands it."

Cat Stevens: Also known as Yusuf Islam after converting to Islam. He was the sole musician in the controversial movie "Harold and Maude." He has sold a ton of records with profits from which he has sought to fight for international peace.
