Speeches and Poems
After the EYE CANDY blog I thought I'd follow up with something to open you mind. These are covering a variety of subjects to stretch horizons in Art, Math (my favorite subject), and Living. I know speeches and poetry are my least popular blog, but this is for those guys who requested a new one (Bullet Boi, E.E. Lover, and Shane). ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Try not to let these people make you feel small… "To see over giants, one must stand on their shoulder"

Theo Jansen: Artist and kinetic sculpture being new meaning to the genre of "living art" with his famous "beasts." We have all seen his work featured on Youtube without realizing the revolutionary use for his accomplishments. He can move huge amount of weight with the touch of his fingers and provides new life forms.

From Democracy to Despotism from the classic classroom film provided by the encyclopedia Britannica: This is a chilling video seems to predict our current government. Notice the pledge of allegiance is recited without "under god." because the phrase "under god" was added in June 1954 to associate godliness with patriotism. The reason was to fight Russian communism, making our country more god loving and our enemies less godly and more savage in the eyes, minds, and hearts of the American people.

Rives: in a lighter note… I love his prose, he moves me from head to toes.
